David’s passion for design was first fostered in his high school arts program and it carried him to Carleton University in Ottawa where he earned his bachelor’s degree with high distinction. This opened many doors including an internship in Holland at Océ Technologies and later at Teknion in Toronto. Upon graduating, David has worked for several design consultancies and SME’s, while the bulk of his work has been for Cuisipro and KitchenGrips designing innovative kitchen tools. His focus has always been on searching for the symbiotic relationship all products have between the desire for form and the need for function, as this is where real world results reside.

David has been awarded over 12 US design and utility patents. His work is currently part of the team representing innovation in Canada at the International Design Alliance Congress in Taipei, Taiwan. He currently sits on the ACIDO board as the Director of Communications.
