As an industrial designer with an architecture background, and Masters degree in Environmental Design (ID focus), I have accumulated 14 years of experience in the design industry, with a strong focus on physical interaction design, design for manufacture, injection molding, wood products, sheet metal, design sketching, electronics enclosure design, and ergonomics. In 2014, I founded a design consultancy with a focus on tech and medical startups in Toronto.
Each product in this select portfolio began its journey as a rough concept sketch on the back of a napkin or receipt. While the design journey (months and even years of design effort) are innately gratifying, the most rewarding part of industrial design is in seeing the use and joy that is derived by the end users. I firmly believe that design, as a whole, must always improve life in some way, shape or form.
