Badak-ae: “on the floor”. Furniture inspired by Hanok.
To design a multi-purpose product that merges a seating and work surface by focusing on activities typically done on the floor, to reintroduce the treasured floor-based culture of Hanok (Traditional Korean Architecture). Badak-ae is a piece of furniture that can be laid flat to resemble a bed or other rest area. When need be, it can be folded one way or in a trifold to use as a work surface.
