ACIDO Rocket Finalist

Takaya: Takaya explores how Canada can build its own automotive company through system integration, IP ownership, and strategic design.

Canada does not have a globally recognized automotive brand despite being home to some of the world’s most advanced automotive suppliers and manufacturing capabilities. Takaya explores how Canada can transition from manufacturing for others to building a self-sustaining automotive platform of its own through system integration, IP ownership, and strategic design. Using a Virtual OEM model, the project proposes a new approach to automotive authorship rooted in Canada’s existing industrial ecosystem.
