The Last Mile

The Last Mile motorcycle is a test of what modern technology, design thinking, and the design process can do for human health. The Last Mile is a truly all-encompassing solution to the everlasting issue of getting access to health care in rural Africa. The final design is a two-wheeled electric-powered motorcycle that has gone through extensive consideration for each part and feature that is on it. The motorcycle includes two different orientations, which has driven much of the design on the project; The Riding Orientation, to get the vaccines to the location needed. The Administration Orientation, which allows the riders to administer vaccines to the patient in an easy, effect, organized and most importantly sanitary fashion.
