BECO: Last Mile Deliveries in Brazilian Favelas

In many Brazilian favelas, residents face significant barriers accessing essential goods due to poor infrastructure, irregular addressing, and safety concerns. Recognizing the urgent need for a reliable delivery system in these underserved communities, this project was initiated to bridge the logistical gap. The goal is to empower local residents by offering a user-friendly, sustainable delivery solution that not only enhances access to products but also creates new economic opportunities and simplifies operations for delivery workers, ultimately fostering social and economic equity in such challenging environments.

Aline Zarpelão, Humber

I’m Aline Zarpelão, a Humber graduating industrial designer. I’m passionate about exploring form and function through a variety of artistic media.
