Lumi: Improving children’s well-being with physical activity

With the growing reliance on electronic devices for entertainment, many children today are experiencing a decline in physical activity, which can negatively impact their physical health, mental well-being, social development, and behavior. This project addresses the need to counteract sedentary lifestyles in children aged 7–12 by introducing LUMI, an interactive product that merges technology with movement. LUMI encourages active engagement through fun, immersive games, promoting healthier habits while fitting seamlessly into children’s everyday routines and environments. It offers a balanced solution that supports both physical activity and cognitive development in a tech-driven world.
