Motus: Ergonomic Mouse

Repetitive strain injury is one of the most common injury types sustained by intensive use of computer and poor posturing. Yet, people are not fully aware of the issue. And all existing solutions in the market only tackle mitigation after the fact rather than prevention in the first place. My thesis statement is to design a product that prevents people from getting repetitive strain injuries caused by intensive use of computer. My solution is called Motus, a mouse that creates postural awareness while maximizes gestural movements to minimize repetitive strain on user’s hand.
