ONE Block: Variable Printing Block

ONE Block pays tribute to the traditional craft of Block Printing and introduces digital technology fabrication to elevate the printing experience. ONE Block allows users to manipulate the base imprint of a repeat pattern in real time. Using 3D printers ONE Block is designed from the base repeat of a pattern. Once assembled users can choose which elements of their base pattern are imprinted with each lay of their block. Through orientation and variation of which elements of the block are used, the number of potential patterns increases exponentially.
