SENTINEL Mobile Social Services: Improving Well-Being for Those Without Adequate Housing
Those without adequate housing often lack regular access to sanitation and hygiene facilities. Lacking sanitation is detrimental to one’s health, and may also negatively affect one’s social interactions, making it more difficult to maintain relationships or employment. SENTINEL provides showers, laundry, and hairdressing services among other amenities to anyone who needs them. With better access to these basic services, people will be able to live longer, happier lives.
About the Designer
Roland Moeschter, Humber
I’ve always loved cars since I was about three years old. Before my time with Humber College, I was enrolled in Mechanical Engineering where I was involved with automotive racing clubs, however engineering did not give me the creative freedom that I desired. When I’m not designing or making things, I enjoy playing video games which often bring inspiration to my vehicle and product designs.
