Rocket 2017

The 2017 Rocket Awards were held at 918 Bathurst Centre for Culture, Arts, Media and Education on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Competition judging took place during the day with our social and awards ceremony in the evening.

Alireza Saeedi announced 2017 Rocket Winner –

The 2017 Rocket Winner was Alireza Saeedi of Carleton University for his asphalt recycling unit Infinitium. The Rocket Award represents the best of all entries with a deep understanding across the design process. Alireza Saeedi’s Infinitium was also presented the Commercial Equipment Award.

Richard Revie wins Sport & Play Award –

Richard Revie of OCAD University was presented the Sport & Play Award for his skateboard system Primo along with the Designforce Market Ready Award.
