Tempo: Tempo enhances urban lifestyles through flexible, efficient, and adaptable mobility.
Urban centres face growing challenges from congestion and car dependency, limiting safe and sustainable mobility. The reliance on private vehicles increases emissions, noise, and risks for non-car commuters. This thesis proposes Tempo, a modular low-emission microcar system designed to improve urban transportation efficiency. Its linking system allows vehicles to connect with additional cars, trailers, and battery modules to expand range and functionality. By addressing infrastructure constraints and commuter behaviour, Tempo aims to provide a practical, adaptable, and inclusive solution for urban mobility.
